The FAFSA has been done. It is late. I did not want to do it. This is for year 5. The FAFSA people want all of our IRS information. You may remember that this was the information that is sacred. Just like the Social Security Number.
The US government says that we should be careful to not tell people our Social Security Number (SocSec). This is interesting as to do anything at all banks and companies and people on the street demand that we give them our SocSec before they will do business with a person.
I find all of this more than disturbing in practice. How do you feel about this? Is it OK with you or a little scary? Does this all read like a case study in crazy making (a technical term)?
